The Silicon Prairie Web Solution Story
SPWS is owned and operated by partners G. Scott Walker and Levi Nichols.
 Scott is the "front man" of the operation. He interfaces between Clients and the team of designers and programmers employed by SPWS, translating as necessary. His passion is to create systems that enable the team to set and exceed Client expectations consistently. His enthusiasm for technology comes from its ability to enhance people's lives, but his focus is always on RESULTS, not gimmicks.
His own history is multi-faceted: prior to founding SPWS with Eric Abrams in 2001, he had built a Tech Support department from scratch, for a software company that was eventually bought out by EDS. Before that, he was a High School teacher (Instrumental Music), a New/Used Car/Truck salesman & sales manager, and held many other equally-diverse occupations. It's the wide range of experience, combined with immersion in Personal Development, that has positioned Scott uniquely to ensure that SPWS' Clients receive the exceptional service that they deserve!
 Levi is the technical “brains” of the company. He handles everything from large web development projects to project management and server maintenance. His goal is to use his expertise in programming for real-world business needs to enable clients to use the web to achieve their objectives.
He attended Iowa State University where he majored in MIS (Management Information Systems). He left with one semester to go, in order to work full time at SPWS, and not long after, he purchased half
of the company from one of the founders. His experience in college involved multiple programming languages and MIS courses in database design and system analysis His work experience while in college included being a teacher’s assistant and working at the Iowa Department of Transportation doing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for rural highways.
